In a dominant position and surrounded by wheat fields, olive trees and a regenerating silence, our 18th-century stone farmhouse has just been carefully renovated to offer an authentic, elegant and deeply personal welcoming experience.
Everything here speaks of nature, light and beauty: the windows frame the landscape like a painting, the sunsets fill the air with stillness, and the panoramic pool, generous in size and west-facing, reflects the last rays of the sun every evening as in an enchanted mirror of water.

Each room is named after a plant that grows among the paths on the property. From the romantic “Ginestra” (Broom) with its four-poster bed, to the refined “Alloro” (Laurel) with a view of the Apennines), to the panoramic “Vite” (Vine) overlooking Volterra.
Spaces designed to welcome, inspire, and regenerate: no TV, lots of natural light, refined fabrics, Tuscan scents, and a homemade breakfast to be enjoyed on the terrace next to the pool or in the internal lounge.

At Poderino Il Sole every morning begins with familiar scents and sincere flavors. Breakfast is personally prepared by Monica, with local and seasonal ingredients, inspired by Italian tradition and the pleasure of caring.
You will find home-baked cakes, tarts with homemade jams, fragrant muffins – but also sourdough bread, overnight porridge, pancakes, fresh fruit, eggs, cheeses and local cured meats.
Each preparation is express, designed to respond to your tastes and to respect the natural rhythm of things, avoiding waste and embracing a more conscious lifestyle.

At Poderino Il Sole you won’t find TV. And you won’t miss it. The sky changes color every hour, the hills are tinged with gold at sunset, and the most important connection is not the Wi-Fi (which anyway reaches everywhere, even in the pool), but the one with yourself and a wonderful landscape.
Our farmhouse is in a dominant position, isolated but central, about 6 km from Lajatico. Here you need your own vehicle to get around but we guarantee you won’t want to leave easily. You will feel suspended, as if inside a painting. And perhaps, when you leave again… you will find yourself searching, in every silence, for the echo of that slow breath that you have rediscovered here.
